Project Description: The National STEM Consortium (NSC), an alliance of ten community colleges in nine states, is designing a portfolio of innovative one-year certificate programs to respond to regional industry needs and (re)train workers for high-demand, mid-skill technical careers.

Health IT MoHealthWINs

Project Description: The $20 million MoHealthWINs program will train more than 3,200 Missourians for careers in growing healthcare occupations, while developing  innovative solutions to current and future workforce needs in the health services/sciences industry. Administered through the Missouri Community College Association, this program is made possible by a federal grant, plus vital support from our employer partners and college/workforce partners.

Colorado Online Energy Training Consortium (COETC)

Colorado Online Energy Training Website

Project Description: The Consortium is focused on enhancing current energy-related programs with the goal of training highly qualified workers for businesses that are seeking a skilled workforce. The project facilitates partnerships between energy-related businesses, community colleges, and local workforce centers to train unemployed and under-employed workers with skills they need for placement in some of Colorado’s highest-paying and most in-demand jobs.
